Establishment Period

In 1990, renowned entrepreneur and business Sezai Turkes established a foundation for building a school in the name of his wife Inanc Turkes, which would prepare gifted children with restricted financial means. For this purpose, the foundation opened Private Inanc High School in 1993 on a land of 416.000 m2, which at the time accommodated three hundred students.

Following the commissioning of 20.000 m2 of covered area for education in 1994 and 1995, there was an outbreak of financial shortcomings in January 1996, which caused civil works to be suspended.
Compulsory eight-year education, which was introduced in 1997, caused the secondary section of the school, restricting student supply.

Turkish Education Foundation Period

The uncertainty period of the school ended with the support of the Turkish Education System which has provided education to successful and talented students with limited resources for 35 years. Taking over the school on 10 July 2002, TEV saved the school from the bottleneck of the time. The school presently continues its educational activities under the name Turkish Education Foundation Inanc Turkes Private High School (TEVITOL).
