The Turkish Education Foundation has been granting international scholarships since 1969, to train senior executives and experts with leadership qualities to enrich our country's trained manpower.
Scholarships will start in November 2022, with announcements published on TEV’s website. Deadlines for applications may vary based on scholarship programs. All scholarships are directed at students who will start their Postgraduate and Doctoral studies, or who will undertake Medical Fellowship and Research studies abroad between September and October 2023.
International scholarship programs do not include programs such as undergraduate education, Erasmus, Exchange, summer schools, and language schools.

The TEV, United States, and Western Europe Postgraduate Studies Grant
TEV has been granting Postgraduate scholarship loans to students attending top-ranking universities by subject in the U.S. and Western European countries since 1969 (if TEV has no other Post Graduate scholarship program available in a Western European country, e.g. Switzerland, students can apply for this scholarship)
The TEV - DAAD Germany Postgraduate Studies Grant
The Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) has been jointly granting Postgraduate scholarships in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, and Social Sciences with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) since 1998. Recipient expenses are shared equally by DAAD and TEV and are subject to repayment. Areas of study eligible for grants are published on TEV’s website every year.
The TEV - French Embassy Postgraduate Studies Grant
Through an agreement between TEV and the French Embassy, postgraduate study scholarships have been granted to state universities in France since 2004. Areas of study eligible for grants include Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, and Social fields. The teaching languages are French and English, and the duration of a master's study in French state universities is one year. Candidates who study in English are required to speak a certain level of French. Candidates who cannot speak French may attend French language courses at the French Embassy before going abroad (course fees are paid by the candidate). Up to 5,000 Euros of recipients’ school fees are paid by the French Embassy. In addition, recipients receive a monthly scholarship stipend, two thirds of which is a loan paid by TEV subject to repayment, and one third of which is paid by the French Embassy.
The TEV - Garring Foundation Denmark Postgraduate Studies Grant
Since 1996, the Turkish Education Foundation, in partnership with the Garring Foundation, has been granting Postgraduate scholarships to young people studying Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Communications Engineering, Maritime and Coastal Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Wind Energy and Civil Engineering, Technical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and related fields at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), which teaches in English. Application and selection processes are conducted by TEV and the Garring Foundation pays all the recipient’s expenses.
The TEV - IE University of Spain Postgraduate Studies Grant
TEV and IE (Instituto Empresa) Business University have been jointly granting postgraduate scholarships to students studying International Law, International Relations, Digital Journalism, Corporate Communications, Visual Media Communications, Market Research, and Consumer Behaviors since 2012. The teaching language is English and the duration of study is 10-12 months. IE University pays the entire school fee, while TEV pays living expenses subject to repayment.
The TEV - Japan Postgraduate Studies Grant
TEV and the International University of Japan (IUJ) have been granting Postgraduate scholarships since 1986 at the IUJ in English Business Administration (MBA) and International Relations fields. Application and selection processes are conducted by TEV. TEV also loans eligible candidates one-time round trip flight fees. The IUJ covers all the expenses of selected students.
The TEV - TOFAŞ Fiat Italy Postgraduate Studies Grant
Since 2009, postgraduate scholarships have been granted in the Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Automotive, Aviation, and Management Engineering fields through the TEV-FIAT-TOFAŞ Scholarship Fund. Scholarships range for two years on average, depending on the duration of study at the universities. Recipients who complete their postgraduate program are expected to work at FIAT TOFAŞ for a duration equal to that of their study.
The TEV - Dr. Orhan Birman Scholarship in Medicine
The Scholarship Fund of our late donor Dr. Orhan Birman grants scholarships to medical specialists who have graduated from a medical school and have a medical doctor’s degree, who wish to undertake a specific project to enhance their knowledge, experience, and practice in their specialty. They will apply this new knowledge at the institution that recommended them for the scholarship when they return. Such successful doctors with limited financial means have been granted international scholarships subject to repayment since 1996, for their fellowship and research studies in the U.S. and Western European countries. The duration of the scholarship is 1 or 2 years.
The TEV-Lipodystrophy Scholarship
Since 2017, the TEV-Lipodystrophy Research and Education Scholarship Fund grants scholarship loans to medical doctors who have completed at least a residency in Child/Adult Endocrinology and/or Metabolism Departments and who wish to study in the field of Lipodystrophy in the U.S.
The TEV-SINGA, Fully Funded PhD Study Grant in Singapore
TEV-SINGA (Singapore International Graduate Award) Grants are fully funded scholarships given every year for PhD studies in Liberal Arts, Engineering, and Biomedical Sciences at A*STAR (The Agency for Science, Technology and Research), NTU (Nanyang Technological University) and NUS (National University of Singapore). Application and selection processes are conducted by TEV and A*START and all recipient expenses are paid by A*STAR.
The TEV-TEV UK-University of Oxford, England Postgraduate Studies Grant
Since October 2022, TEV and TEV UK, an independent, autonomous charity established in the UK, have cooperated to grant fully funded Postgraduate study (MSt, MSc - one-year or MPhil - two-year) grants to students who wish to study in one of the “Humanities” Faculty programs of the University of Oxford. The scholarship includes a monthly stipend to cover school fees and living expenses. The University of Oxford covers one-third of the grant, and TEV UK covers the rest. The duration of the scholarship is one or two years (up to 21 months), depending on the duration of the program selected.
The TEV-TEV UK-ECZACIBAŞI-Imperial College, England Postgraduate Studies Grant
TEV-TEV UK-ECZACIBAŞI-IMPERIAL COLLEGE have been jointly granting fully-funded Postgraduate Study (MSt, MSc) scholarships to students who wish to study fields in the “Natural Sciences”, “Engineering”, and “Dyson’s School of Design Engineering” faculties at Imperial College since October 2022. 25% of the school fees are paid by Imperial College, with ECZACIBAŞI covering the rest, while housing and living expenses are paid by TEV UK. Recipients are also paid a monthly stipend. The duration of the scholarship is 1 year.
